50° Anniversario

Extraordinary success for the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of Curcio Trasporti

Important milestone for the Curcio Trasporti Company: On Saturday 22 July, the celebrations for 50 years of activity in the world of road transport and logistics took place in Polla (SA).

During the celebrations, industry experts and entrepreneurs discussed the present and future of the world of transport in a round table entitled “Generational transition. Challenges and opportunities”. Also present were the mayor Massimo Loviso, the administrators of the Municipality of Polla and the President of the Province of Salerno, Franco Alfieri.

The company celebrated, in a climate of profound emotion, half a century of successes and achievements: a tenacious growth that has allowed Curcio Trasporti to earn a prominent place among the large road transport and logistics management operators.

The company today is active on both national and international markets through three offices in Europe: two in Italy – in Polla (SA), strategically positioned between Campania, Basilicata and Calabria and in Sant’Ilario D’Enza (RE) – and one in France, in Vedène near Avignon, a real logistical hub to strengthen trade with Western Europe.

On this special anniversary, in addition to reflecting on the past, the company has focused its attention on the future of the sector.

In his opening speech, President Giuseppe Curcio called the founder of the company, Giovanni Curcio, on stage to remember the strength and tenacity put into building a solid company in a complex period, but also full of opportunities, like that of the 70s.

The current President then wanted to express gratitude to all the employees for the essential role played in the growth path and for the competence and dedication demonstrated.

Finally, Curcio wanted to reiterate his commitment to guaranteeing solidity for the further generational transition in the company, the third, which will involve his very young children in the future management.
